One of the Greatest Causes of Juvenile Delinquency

 

 

    Simply knowing these statistics will not solve the problem, but it’s one of the reasons we MUST go into these juvenile detention centers and preach Jesus Christ to them. So, what is one of the greatest causes of juvenile delinquency?  FATHERLESS HOMES!

    Between 40% and 50% of children will go to bed tonight without their fathers being at home (and without knowing where their fathers are).  Why? Because over half of all marriages in this country now end in divorce, children are left to themselves (as Eli’s were).  Most of the time, it is father who is the scoundrel that does this to his children, but more and more it’s the “silly women” spoken of by the Apostle Paul who think they can rear children without the HEAD of the home being there!  Sadly, whatever the cause these are the results: 

 

  1. 63% of youth suicides come from fatherless homes.
  2. 70% of juveniles in state institutions come from fatherless homes.
  3. 71% of teen pregnancies occur in fatherless homes.
  4. 71% of high school drop outs come from fatherless homes.
  5. 75% of children in chemical abuse centers come from fatherless homes.
  6. 85% of youth sitting in prisons come from fatherless homes.
  7. 90% of homeless and runaway children come from fatherless homes.

 

 

   What are we doing about it?  We work to get into juvenile detention centers and show the boys and girls there IS a Father in heaven who does care for them, and will save them. We also work to get local, independent King James Bible believing Baptist churches doing the work if there is a juvenile center near them.   We present this ministry wherever we can, seeking prayers and financial support to keep this ministry going.
